Trim Tennis Club Junior Information
Junior Membership: €50 per annum (1st April – 31st March)

Social Tennis:
Trim Tennis Club has very active junior members. Every Saturday, there is supervised junior social tennis at the following times:
- 10am – 11am: 7 – 12 years of age (Contact: Andrea Mekitarian: 086 3323848)
- 11am – 12 noon: Teenagers (13 years +) (Contact Tara Cheevers: 087 6016012)
- 12 noon – 1pm: Teenagers (Advanced skill level) (Cheryl Creagh: 087 6283528)
These sessions are facilitated by TTC Committee members and parents. All of the parents involved are Garda vetted. The focus is on fun drills and competitions.
If your child is interested in joining Trim Tennis Club, they can attend Saturday morning tennis for a period of 3 weeks to see if they like tennis and then decide whether or not to join the club.
Christmas, Halloween and Easter fun events e.g. Easter egg treasure hunt are also organised for the junior groups.
Coaching:
In order to avail of coaching, juniors need to be Club members.
Margaret Drew and Sally Nevin are our coaches. Junior coaching (8 week block coaching) occurs 2 – 3 times per annum. The coaching takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3.30pm through to 7.30pm in hourly sessions dependent on age and skill level.
We also run a 3 week summer coaching every year in July. Typically the summer coaching is organised as follows:
- Group 1: 8 – 12 years of age from 3 – 4.30pm
- Group 2: 13+ years of age from 4.30pm to 6pm
1 / 2 or all 3 weeks can be booked. The cost is typically €35 per week per participant.
Tennis Leinster Regional League:
Some of our juniors also participate in the Tennis Leinster regional leagues competing against neighbouring clubs such as Navan, Ratoath, Stackallen etc. This year, our Trim 1 team won the 2025 spring league bringing home a trophy, medals and pennant.
Junior Court Play & Booking Policy:
Juniors under 14 years of age can only play on courts during the following hours.
- Monday to Friday: 9am to 5pm
- Saturday & Sunday: 9am to 8pm
Juniors are strictly forbidden to play on courts Monday to Friday beyond 5pm
- All juniors 14 years of age and under must be supervised by an adult at all times while they are on court.
- Juniors are not granted court booking access on Club Manager 365. Courts will need to be booked by their parent. In circumstances where their parent is not a member, one parent can be granted Club Manager 365 court booking access. The parent can book the court and choose their child as their opponent within Club Manager 365. Both names have to be on the court booking i.e. the parent name and the junior member’s name (s).
- For family membership, only the parents are granted court booking access but their children are added to Club Manager so their name can be displayed as opponents within the booking system.
- It is the responsibility of the parent (s) to supervise and adhere to Trim Tennis Club Code of Conduct & Tennis Etiquette Rules. All members provided consent to abide by these rules on becoming members of Trim Tennis Club.
